Pixl contributes to the TCS London Marathon Running Show 2023

about.

Set Creative Agency partnered with Pixl once again for their client TCS London Marathon 2023. Internally commissioned by Project Manager, Alex Thomas, Pixl is proud to have contributed to TCS’s exhibition presence at the TCS London Marathon Running Show 2023 at ExCel, bringing the brand to life through a series of video gateways and interactive touchpoints.

challenges.

Pixl contributed to TCS’s exhibition presence at the TCS London Marathon Running Show 2023 at ExCel by providing three LED archways for the audience’s experience. These archways ran content supplied by Set Creative. The most challenging component of this project was the building of the LED arches within the time frame allocated.

solution.

The LED arches were their ROE Ruby 2.3mm, (pictured) on Brompton processors. Set Creative’s content was driven from our Disguise VX4 media servers. The main video was a content loop running off a Disguise VX4 media server to the LED arches and monitor.

Receiving excellent feedback from Set Creative, Pixl has been ensured to provide for the TCS LondonMarathon in 2024. A series of video gateways and interactive touchpoints celebrated the runner’s finish line.

We are proud to install this stunning LED screen display in Valentino, London

about.

Pixl Evolution’s Live Division Project Manager, Paul Wood recently supplied 9 x LED Screens for Valentino in their Flagship London Store on Old Bond Street.

We worked for Production company StudioBoum to provide a solution of 9 high-resolution transparent screens for their windows that worked in conjunction with Valentino’s own in-house Transparent ground floor screen.

After we provided them with several options for LED screen types and sizes, Valentino settled on using 9 x 1m wide x 2m high Leyard CLM 6.9 screens for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd-floor windows. Using CLM 6.9 proved the best compromise between having good resolution and high transparency.

Content had to run across all screens as one piece, but as there were no hard-wired connections between each floor to link the screens, a web-based media server system was used so all screens and playback were synchronised.

We also worked alongside set company Madeworkshop who designed, built and installed the bespoke hanging frame solutions for the screens.

The result is this absolutely stunning multilevelled animated window display–well done to Paul and everyone involved.
