We are thrilled to announce that Pixl Evolution, as part of the ETP family of brands, has attained ISO 27001 certification. This significant achievement demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding the security and privacy of client data.

In today’s digital events landscape, data security is crucial for event organisers and their chosen suppliers. We take pride in being one of the few technical production companies to have obtained this certification.

The ISO 27001 certification process is rigorous and demanding. It requires companies to establish a comprehensive framework for managing information security risks. This involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing robust security controls, and fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the company. The scope of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is limited to protecting business information stored and processed on company-owned and/or managed systems.

“At Pixl, we understand the critical nature of data security for event planners. That’s why achieving ISO 27001 certification is a major milestone for us,” shares Guy Vellacott, Founder of Pixl Evolution & Vice President of ETP Europe. “We know that sensitive event content, such as confidential presentations and internal discussions, necessitates a data-centric approach. This certification assures our clients, especially those managing events with stringent data requirements, that their information is protected to the highest standards.”

Pixl Evolution proudly supports the community through knowledge-sharing initiatives at Longdean School and Oxford Brookes University.

Empowering Students at Oxford Brookes University:

Our ETP (Event Technology Partners) President, Paul Hutton‘s recent visit to Oxford Brookes as a visiting fellow highlights our commitment to student development. Focusing on Event Management, Hospitality, and Tourism, Paul engaged students through insightful lectures and discussions, shedding light on Pixl’s operations and talent acquisition strategies.

As the inaugural speaker, Paul, playfully referred to as the “guinea pig,” addressed postgraduate students on October 18th. Topics included Pixl’s initiatives like Coil and past placement programs. His midday lecture, “How to Articulate Your Strategy,” emphasised the importance of clear business communication to a diverse audience of students and lecturers. The day concluded with an Alumni gathering, where Paul shared Pixl’s growth challenges and discussed the Help to Grow: Management program, highlighting our active role in supporting smaller companies and contributing to the broader business community.

Preparing Longdean School Students for Success:

Furthering our commitment to nurturing future professionals, our HR and Academic Programs Manager, Tiffany Green, recently visited Longdean School to support students in their workforce transition. Tiffany offered invaluable feedback on CVs, enhancing professional profiles, sharing her expert guidance for job interviews equipping students with the tools needed for career success.

Simultaneously, both Tiffany and Paul’s visits not only strengthens our bond with Oxford Brookes University and Longdean School but also demonstrates our dedication to shaping future event management, hospitality, and tourism industry leaders and contributing to essential skill development for students to successfully transition into the professional world.
