Department: Live Events

Reporting to: Technical Director

Location: Pixl Evolution office & home office with travel within the UK, Europe and globally as required.

 

Job Description:

Summary of Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships and rapport with clients, conduct client visits as necessary and appropriate.
  • Discussing event requirements directly with clients including keeping detailed client briefs.
  • Producing accurate quotations and proposal documentation.
  • Work with the project and operations team to convert the brief into an accurate technical specification.
  • Managing all aspects of the project from the pre-production process to completion.
  • Liaise internally cross departmentally to arrange freelance crew, sub-hire equipment and transportation.
  • Manage freelance crew to deliver the client’s brief whilst on-site.
  • Producing and managing all administration documentation relating to a project including H&S documents.
  • Cost control of project budgets and producing documentation for the Accounts Department for invoicing.
  • Research the latest technology and advise the Technical Director accordingly.
  • Working with the Technical Director and Business Development Director to develop the department in general and the way we work with our clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop business opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows when appropriate.
  • Project support out of hours when required.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Technical Director
Experience and Behaviours:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and event production professionals in both formal and informal situations.

Purpose of the Role:

As part of the Pixl team you will take responsibility for the technical delivery of live events, including technical preparation of the Video equipment. 

Summary of Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Projects team and assist in the planning and implementation of onsite delivery of Live Events.
  • Preparation, Maintenance & Testing of technical equipment for projects you are working on.
  • Set up and run a variety of different video equipment to meet the client’s brief.
  • To lead a team of onsite technicians were required.
  • Safeguard all equipment and ensure all returned to warehouse on completion of the project.
  • Develop strong relationships and rapport with key individuals, clients both professionally and socially.
  • Research the latest technology and advise the Project Director accordingly.
  • Project support out of hours when required.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Project Director.
Experience & Behaviours:
  • Maintain up to date licence for appropriate job required skill e.g., Working at height certificate, IPAF, etc.
  • Highly IT literate.
  • Extensive experience of the corporate and studio market sector.

Working with the ETP Marketing team located in Orlando, FL, the Marketing Manager will support Pixl’s marketing initiatives through the development and editing of press releases, email copy social media captions and more.

 

Summary of Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with photography and/or videography, capturing and editing photos and videos for social media and website.
  • Create, proofread and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
  • Write blog posts, press releases, case studies, award submissions and more.
  • Manage award submission calendar.
  • Ability to visit show site to take photos (some shows may take place during non-office hours, weekends, etc).
  • Manage the UK social media outlets.
