Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time)

Job Description:

Summary of Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Pixl Evolution’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including posts, stories, and reels that align with Pixl Evolution’s brand voice.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos at events, in-office, and on-site for use across social media and marketing materials.
  • Edit and optimise photo and video content to maintain a polished, professional aesthetic.
  • Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement.
  • Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates and industry best practices to ensure Pixl Evolution remains relevant and engaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to source content from live events, projects, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Assist with copywriting for marketing materials, website updates, and email campaigns as needed.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide insights on content effectiveness, audience growth, and engagement trends.
  • Coordinate with external photographers and videographer when necessary to ensure brand consistency.
  • Ability to travel between Pixl Evolutions in Kings Cross, London and Tring, Hertfordshire as needed for content creation and team collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

Experience & Behaviours:
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong photography and videography skills, with experience in capturing dynamic events and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Deep awareness of evolving social media trends, viral content, and algorithm changes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A creative thinker with a proactive approach to content creation and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to evolving social media trends and company needs.
  • Adherence to responsible management information standards, ensuring company policies and obligations are upheld.
