Account Executive
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Responsible for: New Business Development, Sales & Account Management.
Location: Pixl Evolutions office & home office with travel within the UK, Europe and globally as required.
Job Description:
Summary of Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing client relationships, to maintain and grow the business.
- Research new client leads.
- Convert leads into active business.
- To update the company CRM with all client contact interactions.
- To insure the company’s ERP systems and CRM are data accurate.
- Attend industry events and gain contacts from attending.
- Attend production meetings and site visits as required.
- Take detailed client briefs.
- Work with the project and operations team to convert the brief into an accurate technical delivery.
- Manage the budget and costs throughout a project ensure maximum margin for the company.
- Consolidate the project budget promptly to enable invoicing.
- Ensure all invoicing takes place at the correct times.
- Take an active role in and contribute to the Company’s business strategy.
- Encourage and build strong relationships with key individuals and major clients, professionally and socially.
- Identify potential development to Company’s ‘offer’ to meet the customer’s additional needs.
- Discuss leads, progress and opportunities on a regular basis with the Sales Team.
- Go to site for events when necessary.
- Attend trade shows when appropriate.
- Project support out of hours when required.
- Technical equipment training as appropriate.
- Leading RFP’s, tenders and pitches.
- Competitor and market research.
- Maintain up to date licenses for appropriate job required skills.
- Where required meet with the operations team to provide strategic and tangible progress, feedback and input into sales process development and specific projects and clients.
- To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Commercial Director.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Commercial Director the Account Executive will take responsibility for new business sales & growing new sustained client accounts.
Qualities and Attributes Required:
- 5 years or more experience of the live events industry.
- Strong client skills being frequently recognised by clients as someone actively involved in meeting their needs; requested by clients for future projects based on past performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and event production professionals in both formal and informal situations.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of commercial, business and financial acumen.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to guide a client through reasoning to produce a noticeable increase in sales revenue.
- Self-motivated with a passion for results.
- Ability to prepare and present reports to senior level.
- Strategic thinker with clear ability to identify, appraise and implement new ideas and approaches for developing revenue and profitability of the business.
- Highly IT literate, with good knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and experience of CRM systems.
- Full valid driving licence and ability to travel, sometimes at short notice.

Account Executive

Job Description:
Summary of Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships and rapport with clients, conduct client visits as necessary and appropriate.
- Discussing event requirements directly with clients including keeping detailed client briefs.
- Producing accurate quotations and proposal documentation.
- Work with the project and operations team to convert the brief into an accurate technical specification.
- Managing all aspects of the project from the pre-production process to completion.
- Liaise internally cross departmentally to arrange freelance crew, sub-hire equipment and transportation.
- Manage freelance crew to deliver the client’s brief whilst on-site.
- Producing and managing all administration documentation relating to a project including H&S documents.
- Cost control of project budgets and producing documentation for the Accounts Department for invoicing.
- Research the latest technology and advise the Technical Director accordingly.
- Working with the Technical Director and Business Development Director to develop the department in general and the way we work with our clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop business opportunities.
- Attend trade shows when appropriate.
- Project support out of hours when required.
- To perform other duties as assigned by and discussed with the Technical Director.
